The latest kirara adaptation, by the author of HaNaYaMaTa – now focused on meta-idols. If you had a chance to watch it, what were your thoughts? I had high hopes (with it being a kirara adaption and with how much I enjoyed hanayamata), but the first episode felt a bit "lazy." The meta-aspect was played into a bit too much, and in return the group dynamics felt weak – not what I'd usually associate with a kirara show.
>>35544 Well, yuri teasing is part of the concept of Kirara kei.
>>35544 There were a few boys (and one trap) in blend s. But ochikobore has more blatant yuri pandering and fanservice than is normal

If you're looking for something cute be careful you don't OD with this one.
I knew this ep wasn't gonna end well, but dang...
This was really sweet, although I do question the human's complete lack of hesitation. It's a tad concerning.
Finally got around to starting season2. Which of course has no subs. for whatever reason a group decided to sub the first three ep of season3.
This series was the last place I expected to see a yandere like character.
Is anybody watching this? It's a revenge, fantasy, time travel anime. Looks kind of fun.
Flower power.
Funniest episode in a while.
Well, it's finished. That was fun, but I guess I'm the only one who watched it all the way through here. Hope there's a season 2.Post edited on 31st Mar 2021, 2:41pm
If you liked Yama no Susume, you're sure to love this one!
>>35558 The last few episodes since the one you posted have left me hungering for so much delicious food, it's agony. I don't remember the first season featuring so many delicacies.
>>35558 How is it she went so far out of her way to go to that restaurant, waited so long in line, and had no idea what to order from their rather small looking menu?
>>35560 It's the first time she ever went anywhere alone, cut her some slack.

Some douche deleted the old thread so might as well start over.
Kokoro is a miracle of the universe.
Artwork from cocotama animator Akiko Nagashima, being one of many childrens shows she has worked on apparently. Might be a bit old now but finding this was nice to see that some people working on things like this have real passion for it and keep it close to them. https://twitter.com/oyatsupan/status/1344147180077023232
Bit of additional info I noticed recently, Wasurenai has just started releasing subs for the Mono no Kamisama Cocotama series, which are the web shorts that came after the main two series. https://nyaa.si/view/1338980 etc.
Seems like for every sport out there you can find an anime about it, typically involving a school club full of cute girls. Can you name any sports that haven't gotten this treatment that you'd like to see animated someday?
>>34746 Jetskis! Kandagawa Jet Girls! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZpEG16IZ-Y
>>35410 This Jetmotto remake looks fantastic.
Not exactly a sport and it will probably be an extension of anime like Yuru Camp or Yama no Susume but I'd like an SoL anime dedicated to walking or お散歩. There are already manga in these forms but I thought a cgdct SoL would probably be nice. I enjoy walking and used to take really long walks exploring new terrains and places but haven't done so in years since I've moved.
>>35211 If only "Yuri on Ice" wasn't already taken as a title.
For those who haven't already noticed, Nyaa is down and they say it's for good this time. Apparently it has something to do with recently changes to EU laws.
>>35075 Looks like they failed, for now, since this happened in September. If this were to happen, however, then pantsu or similar will probably be used at least on a provisional basis. I think they've been mirroring nyaa.si's database. It's amusing TorrentFreak references HorribleSubs' ceasing their operation as if it were important.
>>35075 Oh noes!
A DCMA request to take down the nyaa.si repo. Well that's a maneuver I wouldn't have expected. https://github.com/github/dmca/blob/master/2021/01/2021-01-14-mpa.md
>>35342 That's pretty amusing and stupid.
With Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou being out now, I'm not sure why no one made a thread for this yet but hey here it is now. No need to thank me!
>>35203 It's been a crazy ride so far
Time for the 501st to reassemble!
>>35285 I think that only works well when done in moderation. Too many jets/tanks make the humans look weak. Like ants swarming an enemy.
>>35285 I'm aware of the trope. But it hurts my intelligence to see a military just chucking away it's pilots in an obviously useless death rush against an enemy they apparently can't defeat and have not been able to defeat with the same pre-war fighters for five years. Then again this IS japan so maybe it doesn't seem that far fetched to them.
>>35284 It's pretty obvious Witches are in short supply.
>>35289 It's no wonder they would be, considering only girls can be witches, and only a select few from that, and even among those they can only practically serve as a witch for -10 years before they lose their power.
Sleepy princess~
What a cute little idiot.
>>35225 Considering the 8-bit RPG interface at times, I think the reference is intentional.
Let's get to painting
>>35266 I hate to say it but I'm not getting the reference here.
Who's in the mood for a cup of coffee?
the moe is overwhelming.
Why would chino's mom not visit chino? Seems a bit rude.
>>35256 >chino's mom I'm not sure if I missed some sarcasm, but isn't she dead?
>>35274 She's a very lively ghost.
