Closest thing to a 'Halloween anime' I can think of would be Shiki. Though I have seen plenty of Halloween episodes across many other anime.

I'd say ghost stories. It's well known for it's dubbing that went off script and mocked the story, but I unironically thought the original version was decent.

As for silly/petty reasons for dropping a show, I dropped Omamori Himari part way through the first episode because I didn't like the voice actors/actresses. Can't remember who of, but that's the reason. I dropped Denpa Kyoushi because I was looking at the character pages and saw a trap character, along with finding the younger sister character obnoxious. I dropped Hyouka because I couldn't be bothered to care about it. Probably more, if I bothered to remember.

I dropped Hakumei to Mikochi because it was too good a slice of life. I was going through a rough patch when I watched it, and just couldn't stomach something really upbeat and happy. I'll get round to watching it again someday.

I dropped Eromanga-sensei the moment I realized it was related to orimo.

I finally got around to finishing this and holy fuck does it get retarded. The last ep just gets more and more insane as it goes along. The anime is nothing great but it almost feels worth it to see how it all unravels.

I really wanted to like this as a history lover but the blatant lack of animation in a story setup that is primarily action driven is really killing it for me. There must be less budget here than a Naruto filler episode.

This episode was superb and can't wait for four more. This is probably the last time I'll watch a seasonal anime, I just can't deal with the waiting. Back on topic, I really didn't expect the current outcome and I feel that's a good thing because it changes the formula a little bit while taking advantage to give the viewers what they want without making a mess while simultaneously surprising them. Hopefully the upcoming episodes will be as good or better as this one.

This episode was fantastic as well. This is so excruciating, why can't I just sleep for an entire week and wake up when the episode is up?

Forgot top post last week, so I guess I'll do it now before watching the last episode.

This episode was also pretty decent, but now in retrospective I realize the series wasn't paced very well, and quite a bit could have been cut out to show more important parts like Okabe's future. I really hope it ends on a good note. I planned a S;G rewatch so I would land right on today's ending and then watch the last episodes of the original series for a perfect wrap up.

I finished this a couple hours ago and then watched the rest of S;G following the timeline. Now that it's over, I think it definitely has issues and if I were to rewatch it in one go, I'd notice it has pacing issues very similar to the original in the sense that spends a lot of time in fan service and slice of life parts when it could use that time to further explore the things that make this anime unique. Overall a very nice ending, if a bit too rushed, but certainly inferior to its predecessor. I do wonder what people that played the VN think about this, but I think it's safe to assume it's better, just like the original. There's episode 24 (OVA) remaining, no clue what it'll be about.

Cute bundled frog-girls are just one of the many wonders this season offers.

the type of sexual abuse of a minor depicted in sunoharasou would no doubt be consider outrageously offensive were the gender situation reversed.
