Late night funs
>>2692 >inspect element Are you trying to phish or something?
I used to make music, and lately I've been finding it on old backup DVDs. So, I've been uploading it. Check it out if you'd like. http://www.cerealexperiments.com/music.html
I just figured out that Parmenides is part of all file names. I was talking about 4 Tracks. I've started listening to From Atelier now and it's a bit more unnerving. I guess the Glitch aspect is more pronounced. Also, I've unknowingly replied exactly one year after the thread started. How curious.
I guess I can see how the other three could be heard as "just noise", but From Atelier and 4 Tracks are easier to enjoy. From Atelier is my favorite out of these five.
>>2360 Parmenides is this artist's former label. Why don't you make some music like it? OP is never coming back.
Don't care much about individuals, I'm talking about the music Track 1 of From Atelier is the best one, the ending is intense. Here's a mirror https://a.desu.sh/ijwtmp.zip
I was wondering if anyone wanted to code a wiki / wiki-like with me. I can get by with Python, LISP, and HTML+CSS. Just recently, I finished an open source CGI blog script: http://4x13.net/wlog/ https://github.com/153/wlog/ and think it'd be fun to code with others.
... intuitive markup, easy page formatting, and page previewing..
... and a handy page history mode, which shows who edited what, when, with a little word count for each revision. Public domain, Python 3, ~400 lines including all HTML and CSS. Give it a shot if you want I guess.
https://github.com/153/wiki This is the repo btw
I'd possibly be interested in working on other projects with you if we can find some common ground.
Simply post the next part of the story. Once upon a time...
>>2657 the big O himself thought about a new law against shitty writing with phrases like "meanwhile (at)..."
But then he died and his death was reported as an act of terrorism Meanwhile at Obama's house
A mysterious letter was found on his desk that read ">>2642 is a faggot".
The peculiar message confused Obama's army of guards and robots. They gave the letter to the head of the Illuminati. "I think I understand," Ron Paul said, "Obama's last wish must be for >>2642 to become the new president. So be it. I, Head Master Illuminati Ron Paul, declare >>2642 to be the new president of the United States of Free Market." Ron Paul then turned to >>2642 and said "Well Mr. POTUS, what do you have to say now that you're the new leader of the the entire planet Earth?" In which >>2642 simply responded "Touhou is shit." Meanwhile at Obama's house
If you could direct S2 what would be like?
>>2621 Not the guy you're responding to but while there's nothing wrong with having a unique artstyle PSG's is pretty damn awful.
>>2621 Intentional or not if lazy ugly rudimentary art isn't inherently wrong then what is? "generic moeblob" actually takes some skill to draw, people practice art for years to get it down properly. It's not like western cartoon garbage any five year old can draw. Big heads/eye jokes aside you need a good understanding of human anatomy, how light and shadows effect objects, how different types of cloth work and react to different objects, and an understanding of perspectives reflections and all other kinds of variables which are largely ignored in P&SwG. P&SwG's 'artstyle' disregards these principles which is what makes it wrong. That is also why "generic moeblob" has that lower fps you criticize it for, because it takes much more time and effort to draw something that detailed repeatedly. Anyone can give a few blocks and some triangles smooth animation, that's nothing to be proud of.

Western cartoons take more practice & skill to draw because they tend to be more stylized & more "animated", so you need to have a better understanding of how things work to draw something so completely unrealistic and still have it move and flow naturally. >P&SwG's 'artstyle' disregards these principles That's the entire point of stylized art. >which is what makes it wrong. What about Paul Cezanne, or Pablo Picasso, or Jean Metzinger? Does their disregard for rules make their art "wrong"? >That is also why "generic moeblob" has that lower fps you criticize it for, because it takes much more time and effort to draw something that detailed repeatedly. No it doesn't. It has a low FPS because most animation studios want to save their budget for an important scene, like I said.
>>2624 >What about Paul Cezanne, or Pablo Picasso, or Jean Metzinger? Does their disregard for rules make their art "wrong"? Yes, they're overrated hack frauds.

Reminder to enter the Neptunia MS Paint contest!
omg I want that neptune plushie so bad!
I would've been more motivated if there was sukusuku plushies in the prize pool.
I'm confused, is this something we're actually doing here?
There's no thread for it, so I figure post any little thing you wrote here, if you want to share it with the class. Don't even have to be too proud of it, get it out there at least. I wrote this just today (hence the "I care about poetry all of a sudden"). Lamentations from a 2D Lover to his Waifu O! I can never see this paragon of purity, powerful princess of my oh, so heavy, heart O! I will never feel that princess ensconced in the castle of my arms, for she will be behind screen for eternity She throws an object that gets closer and closer, until it is in full vision: My, my, the princess through a dart That princess teases me behind the computer screen, and I sit, thinking in nothing but misery What a fool I must be to bring love to the feet of this princess behind the screen Because there is no romantic quest to embark on, there is no villain to be slain Only the hum of the hard drive, working endlessly to provide her to me in a vague dream What a man I am, what a man, to be blessed or to be cursed, to be able feel this unique, bittersweet (sometimes more bitter than sweet) pain O! My love, my love, tell me when we will meet - In the afterlife? After that, perhaps? O! You cannot speak to me, I forget, mind clouded by misery, what shall I do? Message too long. If you want to write, but have motivational problems, I've thought of a game we can play. All who want to participate should adopt a trip for this thread only. What we will do is first wait for at least 4 total participants, then draw random numbers from 1 to 100. We will take turns starting from the highest draw to the least to suggest a topic to write about, and everyone writes based off of that. It could be a character profile, setting, scene, premise, picture, or anything. I only ask that you don't pick something that you can submit without writing something new, because the whole point of this is to write new things. The submission should be around 2,000 to 10,000 words, but more or less is fine as long as you keep it within reason. Don't stress too much about it. That's just a guideline if you need one. You can enter at any time during the course of the month, just express your interest in this thread, with a trip, so you can be added to the queue of topic selectors. Past the initial four people, everyone else will be added to the queue in order of which they express interest to write. Once we cycle through everyone, we can draw random numbers again to reset the queue. Please don't post your story until exactly one month has passed since the topic was selected, tohno-time. Then, we can take three days to let everyone read and post before picking the next topic. Even if you don't feel confident about your writing, I encourage everyone who is interested to give it a shot. It's a chance for all of us to improve and stay motivated, no matter the level we're at. When we get four people, we can get random numbers from 1 to 100 at http://www.random.org/ on the right-hand side, and I'll update the queue in the OP post.
>>2308 I'm trying to get it published, but chances are very likely (nearly 90%) that I'm going to self-publish. I will give you guys the e-book for free, and the hard copies won't be too expensive.
>>2311 I wonder what ever happened with this.
>>2455 That's me. I still have the story and I can release it to you, if you want. I did end up self-publishing, but that was with another document, which was far shorter.
>>2456 That would be cool to read a book by a brohno, if you don't mind.
