I went to Japan and made a lot of pictures I want to dump some where. Feel free to dump your own pictures or images you found some where on the internet.
Secret entrance to a Touhou store. Also Kebab. (Doesn't taste a good as real German Kebab.)
This is the actual staircase you use to get to the different shops.
Tora no ana. Best store for H doujinshi.
Random Akiba pic. The big building in the centre is the Volks shop that has tons of used figurines. The prices are kinda high though.
"maid road" There are a lot of maids that make advertisement for different maid cafe.
Yes those Mario Cart guy are there every day. You can rent those carts and costumes somewhere.
Last pic for now. Thanks for increasing the file size limit.
>>6731 Do they also sell turtle shells you can throw at each other?
>>6732 >Last pic for now. >47 days ago W-where is the rest?! I was actually kinda skeptical going to anime related places, but it looks fun! Cherry blossom in full bloom are so beautiful, you really picked the right time to visit. Did you travel alone?
>>6752 I'm not going to post all pictures. A lot of them are very similar. Like the same thing from slightly different angle. I don't have much time at the moment but I think I'll add some more picutes soon. This one is the first picture of Japan I made. I already have so much thinks I want to do the next time I go there. I haven't seen much of Tokyo outside of Akiba at all. And there are also some nice places in Kyoto that I didn't visit.
I also went to Japan during 3 weeks, Tokyo felt soulless compared to the countryside. I'll start with pictures from Kyoto. Those were taken with a Samsung ST72 so I'll focus on the that came out fairly. This shot was taken near the house I stayed in.
Advert for Kanto-based rail companies.
Picture of a train taken while waiting fot my departure towards Kurama.
Last car of the train heading towards Kurama.
Some pictures taken during the ride.
Sculpture displayed just outside Kurama Station.
Heading towards Kurama onsen.
The white lines are a replacement for sidewalks, which leave you with a very narrow space. I was slightly worried when a bus came accross.
This path was probably heading towards a shrine.
The place wasn't packed at this hour luckily for me.
The food sure was something else, I've never had anything this fresh back home. No matter the status of the establishment, I don't remember having had any issue with the food. Not to mention that green tea was always on the house. It's a shame they don't have a tipping policy.
>>6830 Having green tea being free isn't that special. In the southern US, establishments frequently have free sweet tea with your meal. At least for small locally owned places.
>>6831 As you said it all depends from where you originate, never could hope for more than a glass of tap water prior to my travel. The following dump will focus on a stroll around Ueno in Tokyo .
Walking around in this weather felt like taking a bath fully clothed.
For the sake of the camera, I decided to enter a restaurant for an hour or so. Again, the food was excellent.
Walking towards Ueno Park.
Tomb of Shogitai Warriors.
Didn't get to visit the Okawara Kunio Exhibition.
Close-up shot of >>6852.
I almost had the place to myself at that point.
Closer view of the shrine.
Contemplating this now, I make more sense of the fox in Persona 4.
Heading towards an exit.
That's all for now. I might do a another dump covering the pulling-cart festival in Kishiwada at a later date.
