This is from 1994 and I don't think I've ever heard from them before. Love it.
(pic unrelated)
Probably an old meme, but to me it's new.
I cried happy tears on this one. Many times.
[SIDE COMMENT] >>112 >happy tears now i can't fall for Sagan's preaching that easy; but i know perfectly what you mean.
Take you to za milky way~
Icelandic alternative band, shit's pretty good.
The ending is the best part~
Hirasawa Susumu is a genius.
>>342 Damn, that song is amazing and the ending is indeed fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
>>364 No problem, Infected Mushroom is definitely one of my favourite psychedelic bands. This piece I'm currently listening to is based on The Raven, as written by Edgar Alan Poe. It's a pretty old piece (Early 70's, I believe), but it was highly progressive at the time. I'm listening to a FLAC version of the entire CD without the songs being separated, so I can't upload it.
Horse > sport cars.
>>417 Today is a good day. New Plinkett review and a proper release of this song.

Lunar if you want to make a chiptune thread, I'll contribute as much as I can. But I don't want to make it myself.....

>>638 where is this from?
The title is "wings of dunwyn" and it's from a Razor1911 musicdisk. I uploaded it on /data/.
Astor Piazzolla - Oblivion He was the 12 Monkeys dude. I never saw the film, I'm just aware that the soundtrack is derived from one of his pieces. I think I can really get into this stuff, "nuevo tango". It has the delicacy of classical music, with the melody of more modern compositions.
Someday I want to learn to play the violin.
beautiful

We are running several simulations in a secret laboratory, testing extreme variations with a different lifeforms. Living in a simulation in virtual computer world and tested inside of hostile artificial biosphere Examinating results to create survivor species, generating a new lifeform to act like a weapon, that is unclouded by the delusions of morality and be our device for destruction of eternity. If there's one American band that sums up Tohno-chan in my opinion, that would most definitely be Deerhunter. I prefer 'Turn It Up Faggot' to their later stuff, because it sounds like Pink Floyd meets Sonic Youth, and that's really awesome. Their other stuff (such as the album this song is on) is good as well, though, lots of melodies and prettiness while still singing about alienation and emptiness.
>>856 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rf2gDw2VQ4&feature=related Thats my favourite deerhunter song.
yeah
(YouTube rip.)

I wanna know if a curtain drops.
So, holy shit, this became one of my favorite albums within 24 hours.
Recently cleaned out my closet and found a bunch of my old LP's, cassettes and CD's. Megadeth never gets old. Downloaded all the albums and stuffed the outdated media in a file cabinet.

What's better than John Cale and a piano? John Cale and a whole string quartet. What's even better? John Cale, a piano and a whole Orchestra.
I've been listening to this song for the past few hours.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6iWZuHw4P0&feature=related So ....peaceful
