What kind of job/carrier do you think would suit your waifu? I've come across an artist on pixiv that has drawn my waifu as a train conductor a few times, and it actually kind of makes some sense given her background as well as always hanging out at a train station.
For some reason, I always imagine my sweetheart as some kind of QA engineer and/or Python/shell script quick-fix person who'd end up wearing many hats...
Swimming at an international level is her ultimate goal, but if that doesn't work out, she's considered becoming a PE teacher.Post edited on 17th Nov 2015, 2:31pm
My beloved has a career, one that he could do in my world as well. It suits him well so I have a hard time imagining what else he would do. Perhaps some sort of businessman, he'd like the potential money.
I think a lawyer/some justice field style job would be fitting given his father is a police officer and he likes helping people. Possibly a therapist or psychologist would be a good job. I just know he wants to help others.
He has two jobs, one of which he could easily have in real life which is his job as an elementary school teacher! I think it fits him very well.
She'd probably be a struggling artist, musician, or dancer while I'd support her with a boring job in this world.
He already has a job, but it's dangerous and doesn't really suit him. I could see him going into something like operations research or statistics, but those are both awfully broad categories. It's hard for me to narrow it down. He'd definitely prefer something less theoretical and more practical/applied, but I'm not sure what subfields would interest him. Problem is, I don't know if he'd enjoy a lot of fields that suit his strengths. I don't think he wants to settle for a bland, easy, white-collar job. He needs something both challenging and engaging, which, I think, is part of the reason he decided to take the career he did.
Miyuki as a physician
Crime boss.
Florist, obviously. Shed grow other flowers to sell and have her sunflower garden to herself. Owner of a sunflower farm feels wrong for some reason.
I think Remilia would be better suited to being a crime boss, and Yuugi would do better as a henchman/bodyguard.

>>19357 yeah.
>>19357 Why do you think so?
>>19365 Agreeing with them, I think yuugis big manly muscular-ness make a big bully ogre henchman role just seem more appropriate. The 'crime boss' outfit doesn't look out of place, but the other thing seems more fitting. I dont know why this was deleted the last time I posted it...
>>19365 Because Remilia is more of a scheming type than Yuugi, and Yuugi's great size and strength makes it easier to imagine her being a bodyguard than a commander.
Yui was train conductor
She already has a job as a model. But she's bright and hard-working, I'm sure she can do anything she sets her mind to.
Train maintenance
>>19387 I think Yuugi is the natural leader out of the two. She ruled the youkai mountain in the past, whereas Remilia has only very few subordinates. It's true Yuugi isn't the scheming type, but Remilia is very straightforward, too (unless you count unintentional use of her ability), seeing how she gets intentionally ticked in Silent Sinner in Blue just to pass some time. Then again, not scheming at all can also help a criminal rise through the ranks. Loyalty and stuff like that. Also, the big boss can't be a princess - typically, criminals only follow someone strong. Remember the episode in Sopranos where Tony beats up his bodyguard because his underlings think he's become weak after a surgery. There's a reason she's called ane-san.
One of those abstruse but brilliant math professors you find lurking around universities.
Oh, no! All pics of this thread are gone.

Government Agent.

She definitely is a military soldier. She might have the capabilities of being a military leader as well. If peace would ever restore on this Earth and the Abyssals are wiped out entirely by then, she could also become a teacher.
I usually picture my loved one owning a sweets shop or a bakery. Not only does she likes sweets and making others happy, but I also feel like it's a very nice thing for someone like her.

My husbando would totally be a teacher (and am excellent one at that!) if the setting of his universe wasn't fantasy.
Rin already has a job at a bookstore
>>21670 I wonder if that guy isn't trying to just get his style out there, rather than do something that looks 'good'.
>>21671 I think it might be tohno. It's like the opposite of key's(Hinoue Itaru's old) style
>>21672 It's an artist that goes by Hugo. I once spotted one of their drawings in the wild. https://twitter.com/Hugo_Kirara3500
>>21673 Huh. I guess Japanese people don't all have magic art powers. This gives me hope.
