For a place the styles itself "true otaku" it is depressing that so many people on Tohno-chan are so concerned about Oremio II, which is ford driver anime, but a masterpiece like Hyouge Mono gets utterly no attention at all.
The Oremio thread has more posts in less than a week than HM got in two years.

I actually like Naruto. Not the anime, but the manga version, although I admit the quality has decrease considerably since the beginning (it probably should have just ended at Haku/Zabuza). One Piece is actually not that bad.

The virulent reaction against naruto/big three that people have been indoctrinated to do have far more destructive consequences than the discussion of that stuff itself. I am waiting for this thread to become a shitstorm so that this statement is justified.

In any case: unfortunately, most of the posts on the Oreimo thread are flaming meta-discussion actually caused by haters and fans reactions to them. Maybe if detractors wouldn't get so obsessed with tearing it down, it wouldn't have that much posts.
