This is where you can remind us how much the software sucks and how dead the community is.

No. 3483 [Edit]
Is the source code for Tohno-Chan shared? I am currently working on an imageboard and I would like to implement some of the features that are on this site.

Picture not related.

What board?
>> No. 3485 [Edit]
Yeah sure I guess.
sharing is caring.

It's kind of a personal one. I'm not sure if it's safe to post it here. It's just a thing for me and my friends.
>>3485
So then where is it?
>> No. 3487 [Edit]
Giving someone the code wouldn't be a security risk, would it? I don't know anything about such things

I wondered the same thing. OP should just use Wakaba or Kusaba X or something.

Here, OP.

I'm.. not actually... sure...

It could be, but I think it's rare to see such a thing. I don't know anything about how this site works internally, so I can't be sure if it will even be useful. I was just wondering if it would happen to be open so that I could take a peak. It wouldn't be a big deal if it wasn't. I guess that I couldn't resist making a thread on a quiet chan.

I've already read though that list and taken from it what I can.
>>3490
That's too bad.
>> No. 3493 [Edit]
Putting the source code on github might not be such a bad idea, I'm sure some people here could help improving it and all.

You don't think it's a security problem?
>> No. 3501 [Edit]

from what I've heard, kusaba-x is a security problem in and of itself.
>> No. 3504 [Edit]
>>3501
Where'd you hear that? I wouldn't call encyclopediadramatica a credible source, if that's where you heard it.
>> No. 3508 [Edit]
>>3500
Unless it's really really full of bugs, it shouldn't be...
>> No. 3510 [Edit]
>>3504
It might have been from there now that you mention it.

I don't know about Kusaba-X but a few years ago when I was really interested in this pretty much all futaba/futallaby spin-offs (including kusaba's ancestor iirc) used to be full of bugs and vulnerabilities and just all around shitty/insecure with the exception of wakaba.
