As it turns out, when you spoiler a URL, the text of the link is still visible which negates the point of spoilers.
Is it possible to change the link color attribute for the area under the spoiler?
More importantly is it possible to do it conveniently. I can think of a few ways to do it that would be a pain in the ass, but I don't know shit about style sheets (I stopped updating my HTML knowledge about ten years ago).
I can tell for almost certain that ever other site with spoilers has this same issue so its likely to be a pain to deal with, but there are a couple threads on the topic on the wakaba support board.

I don't have a related pic so I'll just go ahead and open this thread with some delicious Fuko.

I don't understand why this would be difficult to implement for somebody with knowledge in programming. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that we have any mods or volunteer programmers to help out with small thoughts like these.

I would think that it's something like:
if the string "http://" comes after the string "" and before , colour the string following and including "http://" black until there's a space or [/spoiler]. Upon mouse hover, colour the string white.

I'm not a programmer, but it seems like simple logic, if you know the syntax.

Oh, damn. I forgot to fix that before I posted. I'll post again and replace all brackets with curly brackets to get my point across.

What's the point of spoilering urls?

Some urls are really specific and can be a spoiler in themselves. like "videogamenews.com/article/heres-a-giant-spoiler-fuck-you"

also a lot of people tend to go apeshit when they see http://sankakucomplex.com

That's no reason to use a spoiler tag.

it is because those people complain and you end up getting banned

Use waa.ai for those or something of the sorts then.

Not posting links to sankaku might help, I recommend using this method in the future.

The Sankaku booru is pretty good.
