Yes, yes, yes! I am ready and willing to support any visual novels that get ported over to America!
Hah, that's good news. I don't own a PSP but I'm happy for you guys. PSP has tons of good VN. Sad that this is happy when the PSP is about to get replaced by the PSVita. Oh, well.
From what I understand it is also going to be a PSN release so it's good all around! No one's going to be left out as far as I know.
Wow, was playing it in Japanese and understood most things through context and my little knowledge of the language. Nice to see it getting translated. Never bought a PSP game, but this might be my first just to show that I like their move.
New trailer and XSeed announced it'll be released later in November. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/10/31/corpse-party-and-the-psychology-of-horror/
Recently finished playing it over the holidays and it was pretty fun for what it was. The only thing that bugged me was how you could make a certain choice and not realize that would lead to a bad end at the chapter's end, making you redo the whole thing over again. Also, even the true ending still had one too many loose ends for me to like. I think the game would've been a lot more fun had there been more death traps and challenges, sort of like in Demonophobia.
I just got the "real" ending (got the incest ending first lol) and I thought it was fine and fit the theme very well. I wish it leaned a bit towards more gameplay than VN and I was hoping for a bit more guro.Post edited on 11th Feb 2012, 7:44pm
Well this is one depressing game... Seiko ;_;
I just picked this game up and am enjoying it greatly. Between this, Yume Nikki and Ib, I am starting to wonder if horror games are best in 16-bit.
>>955 They definitely are. Something about the aesthetics of it just...works.
