it obviously has a direct line to NSA headquarters where trained operatives are recording your biometric reactions to each frag in your Halo game so they can write a report and have it on Obama's desk the next morning.

Yes!
The 13 places that will be seeing the Xbox One at launch are: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand. Those who reserved the console and live in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden or Switzerland, are scheduled to get their hardware "as soon as possible" in 2014.

To compensate for this delay, Microsoft will be giving those who pre-ordered in the affected countries a free game with their console. Which game the company will be shipping out is currently unknown.

its like theres an entire sub-industry built around the fact that nobody realizes you can run a HDMI cable from your existing PC or laptop to your TV

To be fair not many videocards out there have hdmi ports and using an adaptor comes with a fair amount of problems. My prebuilt PC came with a hdmi port but when it was time to upgrade the card it took a while to find something decent with an hdmi port and the mother fucking thing turned out to be HDMI mini. Ever since using the adapter I've had occasional problems with audio not transferring over to the tv and video sometimes flickering due to the back connection. I'm on my second adapter now after the first one broke under the cable's weight and now this one is starting to go too.

I can't speak about the stupid Alienware stuff, but Steam's in-home streaming is actually quite nice. I can play games in bed with my underpowered laptop streamed from my desktop at full settings with none of the noise. It also works with non-steam games, so I stream VNs through it as well.

Xbox One's Japan Launch Marked Down as Worst Console Launch for Xbox

Microsoft's Xbox One has sold just 23,562 units in its first week on the Japanese market following its launch in the region earlier this month — less than half of the number of Xbox 360 systems sold in Japan, Famitsu reports.

Complete immersive virtual reality. Nintendo should program and allow mods of lolis so their lonely fanboys can have people to play with.

Stupid /v/-style console wars shit aside, I'd agree with that sentiment if they could actually make it anywhere near legitimately immersive. As it is now though, our "virtual reality" technology is essentially limited to a camera that turns with your head. I think we're unfortunately a long, long way from having convincing virtual lolis.

I fail to see what Nintendo has to do with it, but I would really like to see proper body capture in games now that we have optics and head motion figured out.

Nintendo games are more casual and relaxed, the stuff lolis other than Tomoko Kuroki would play as opposed to most PS4 and XBox games which are all hardcore people and 13-year old boys being dicks on voice chat.

Maybe a good AI in the next 10 years though that is unpredictable enough? Just a pad sitting on the ground plugged in like a controller which you can see a virtual friend doing whatever on if you wear special goggles. Heh...

I definitely don't agree with that. Nintendo games are notoriously difficult, the phrase "Nintendo-Hard" exists for a reason.
Playstation and XBOX have plenty of casual stuff like sports games, vocaloid/rhythm stuff, VNs, iM@s, etc, the only real difficulty comes from trying to control FPS games with a controller. I'll give you the 13-year-old community, though...

I dunno, personally I got 93% in Super Meat Boy (Cleared all light and dark worlds) once and when I look at today's Mario it seems really forgiving in comparison and now I just wanna play co-op with loli friends haha. I don't own a Wii U though. Last Zelda game I played was Skyward Sword in August, I didn't get stuck for too long in most of the places -- think it's easier than the N64 ones.

I'm shit at FPS, never play em I guess.

The "master race" meme is a plot made by brown skinned and jewish subhumans used to derail its original meaning related to the Aryan Herrenvolk. Because it implies those brown skinned and jewish subhumans are inferior to the good old White Man (which is 100% true), they decided to force this meme to the foolish and gullible videogaming community and slowly drive people to forget the true nature of these words.
It is really sad seeing people still falling for it.

Yeah I hate it when I play my 360 because it takes like 10 minutes to get the game going. My friends call me a hipster for playing my older consoles more but I honestly couldn't care less
