12615 No. 12615 [Edit]
The SNES classic launches tomorrow, who here is looking forward to it, what games are you planning to play first? I'll be camping outside Best Buy the following morning, if you happen to be going to the same store as me maybe we can talk to pass the time before the store opens, I'm going to the Best Buy in Santa Rosa California, hope to see you there.

Not worth it at all. If you care about the SNES, there's no way you haven't played all these games already, at least to try them out. Additionally, if you care about hardware that much to warrant buying it, then go for the originals, and inform yourself of how the SNES (and NES too) classic operates software-wise. Generally, sticking with emulation is the most practical and optimal option.

Nevertheless, good luck in your camping and being able to get one.

I agree with this. If you want one as a collector go ahead and buy one but if you want it for gaming its far from ideal.

An original Snes and a flashcart to play every game is a better option for slightly more money.
your PC will emulate stuff pretty much perfectly and a high qualityusb snes controller is only like twenty dollars and a Wii is like twenty dollars and can emulate snes pretty well with some simple software based hacks.

I wasn't aware such a thing existed.

I would say it is safe to bet that Nintendo fans are the most nostalgiafags.

It's just a cute looking case for a simple SNES emulator. I'd rather play SNES and much more on the go with the GPD XD (which also can easily display on a TV through HDMI).

For the ergonomic feel I'd just get a cheap usb snes type controller, or an used true snes controller and an adapter.

I had no interest in this thing, but hopefully you managed to get one for yourself and enjoy it, OP.

I'm fine with just having a Switch.

I've already got a couple original SNES, and can emulate any SNES game on a psp or vita. What point is there to getting this?

Novelty, or maybe to resell if they go up in value shortly after they go off sale.
