Half Life 3 may end up the next DNF

How long have we been waiting now?

HL 2 came out in 04 damnit. The episode format was supposed to increase delivery time, not make it just as bad, if not worse.

Don't get me wrong. Valve has done a lot of good things, but porting all their stuff to Mac was a huge waste of time and effort (bootcamp I know you can afford a windows license mac fags).

They are just doing everything they can to avoid what people want. More Half Life.

Maybe they are trying to build a new engine? Despite the upgrades, the Source engine is showing its age.

I don't know. Maybe the success of Skyrim will tell them that you can indeed make lots of money off a single player only game.

It's not really hyped because they haven't been teasing us with its release. DNF kept posting screenshots and videos and kept announcing the release date and pushing it back and a million other things. Valve just says "we're working on it" if someone asks, and then moves on.

That logo doesn't even look right. In the normal HL logo the Lambda is inside the circle and the number is to the side, not the other way around.

Why would you even emphasize the number of the release in the logo? That is poor visual design.

Gaben is probably the only person in western video games that I like.

Probably because I'm not really chomping at the bit for HL3 and find his teasing humorous. Also in various email replies he's made, he just seems like a cool humble guy.

Look they managed to finish up that ancient piece of crap DNF, it's time valve finished HL3 too.

I'm surprised he didn't put the fact that Valve has no game series on number 3(AFAIK) on the wall too. It's always made me a bit suspiscious.
