Depends on the kind. I'm not a big fan of emo rock like MCR and such, but I do enjoy emo bands that use acoustic instruments. It has a nice melancholic feel to it, almost like a feeling of a distant memory. Here are two of my favorites:

I love emo type music, but if I'm going to be honest, I dislike most of the stuff that's been posted so far. I like the heavier, hardcore/post-hardcore type stuff.
