I prefer earphones by far: When I'm at home, there is no noise so it's alright, and when I have the displeasure of going outside I don't like being fully kept from noises (I'd rather be aware of my surroundings). I don't like in-ear ones though, because they make my head hurt.

Also, that character is gross a hell.

Earbuds on the go and headphones at home is the superior combination.

I find earphones kind of annoying since they fall out a lot, but they're more convenient for listening in bed than headphones. I certainly prefer headphones overall, but I do use earphones as well.
