Audio Glenn Gould - Aria da capo (Reprise) - (5.84MB - 212 kbps - 44.1 kHz , Bach - Goldberg variations - Aria da capo REPRISE .mp3 ) Length: 3:51
1674 No. 1674 [Edit]
If you could have a song played at your funeral (granted having a funeral at all), which one would you like it to be?
>> No. 1675 [Edit]
サイハテ might be a good song, but nobody close to me would understand it or understand that it's suppose to be depressing because of the upbeat melody of the song.

Just follow time could be a good song since it's in English and people would be able to understand it, but nobody I know would be able to truly appreciate the song.

I'd probably just go with a Dethklok song and call it a day. Maybe Facefisted?

I don't really have much people close to me (despite saying so) so I most likely wouldn't request anything because my music taste would probably make them scoff at me or something.

>Dethklok song
I so want Brendon to make the Going Downklok riff into a proper song.

Frank Sinatra - My Way
The Iveys - Maybe Tomorrow
Badfinger - Meanwhile Back At the Ranch/Should I Smoke
Minori Chihara - Toumei Ribbon (waifu's character song)
The Replacements - Left of the Dial
Rasmus Faber - Hare Hare Yukai

and just to piss people off

Dead Kennedys - Too Drunk To Fuck

I've had this question in the back of my mind since OP first posted, but I really could not think of anything, not even a song that would be meant to be funny or ironic. But this evening, Converge's "Wretched World" ( came on shuffle and I just thought, "yeah, this is it."

Do many people actually request songs other than shit like Amazing Grace to be played at their funerals?
>> No. 1681 [Edit]

at the last funeral I went to, the song was that one greenday song. Was an unexpected surprise, though I was still young and innocent and enjoyed listening to greenday back then.

personally, I would prefer a young and tonedeaf choir girl sing amazing grace or some other horrendously long and slow song for 10 mins or so; I could at least get 10 mins of revenge for my terrible youth while they pretend to care and score favors with each other.

Grief - Lifeless

It describes my life and (I'm sure) death quite well.
