Well I was planing on proving my love for my significant other in the traditional manner by purchasing expensive material goods on this specified date as social norms would dictate. But I am unfortunately impoverished and as such am unable to comply with this ritual, so I guess that means I don't love her.

As far as Valentine's day specifically, every day is a day for loving. This one isn't special in comparison.

I made a wonderful dinner for my waifu. Now I'm just laying back and getting ready to take a nap. When I wake up I'll probably spend the rest of the day with her.

I baked a banana cake for her, that's all.

Hey, most of the ingredients were here already I just had to buy a few more.

I wanted to write another sonnet for her but did not manage to finish it in time. Well, maybe I can finish it before White Day comes...

So today we'll just relax, cuddle and later watch a movie together.

Off to the chocolatier and the floral goods vendor. And dedicate the remainder of the day.

I'm a bit ashamed to say, but I didn't really have any ideas despite wanting to do something. Its too late for breakfast in bed, maybe I'll just stay the day with her, or bake her something for desert.

I don't have any plans. For us it is just an ordinary day. Still happy valentine's day everyone! At least there will be tons of new fan art.

Rei isn't one for Valentine's Day but I made sure to give her lots of cuddles anyway.

Made her a cake, red velvet of course, and started a rewatch of Eva so we could be closer. I intended to marathon the whole thing and move onto Rebuild but I'm getting tired so I think we're just gonna cuddle for the rest of the day and pick it back up tomorrow.

It kind of snuck up on me this year and I feel bad about it. Ideally I would have baked her a cake and gotten her a card or something. I'll have to make up for it on her birthday in a couple of months.

Really nothing this year, I´ve been sick the last couple of days now, so we just watched a movie and took it easy today.

i had class, so i couldn't do much during the day

plus i'm poor, so no really amazing gifts

but still, i made a paper crane (first one ever, turned out to be more of a pterodactyl) dedicated to her and intend to write something later, maybe try my hand at drawing or learn to play a song the last probably won't happen, just got into it last week, regardless, i stay optimistic . i've also spent atleast half of the week in the library, something we both enjoy, as well as taking long walks through the snow, so i like to think of those as early gifts.

I forgot about it because I never celebrate valentine, don't have anything planned. But on the 17th I'm going to celebrate our anniversary together and busting my head trying to think of something, I don't have any abilities that would make for a good gift and I don't have money to buy fancy stuff.

I got my waifu an Anniversary card (February is our Anniversary), a heart-shaped box, and wrote some poetry for her, which I will post in the older thread.

Well, I received chocolate from her today, and I feel like that moment we had when she gave it was all we needed. I don't really like Valentines' Day anyway.

Making a cake for her right now while listening to some music. I'm planning on playing her VN later on in the night once I'm done with dinner and dessert with her.

I did some more writing on us, but aside from that, we just ate and relaxed all day. Our combined laziness outside of work seems to be the bedrock of our relationship.

Oh I can't do it on my own. I had to look up a recipe online and thankfully it came with very detailed instructions. Even then, though, I messed it up a bit. For whatever reason it was a little too sweet and not enough chocolatey (I think it was the use of regular milk instead of butter milk since I couldn't find any), the icing was very boring and not fancy or professional, and one of the layers started breaking in half so I had to be very careful when moving it.

Honestly, without the easy ability to google "How to do X" I'd be hopeless at so many tasks!

I would like to get mine a few art commissions, thats really the only practical gift that i can think to give that makes sense. It really is hard doing nice things for her, considering our separation of dimensions. i know a lot of you get yours material items like cake and stuff, but i cant really share it with her so is it really a gift? i guess you could say its the thought that counts.

I hate working around deadlines but I might make an animation of me and Homura sometime this year hurhurhru, in the meantime I just might make a small clip or something.

I'll bake something for her, maybe brownies. Her birthday is just the week before too.

We'll go and watch a live concert on the eve on the 13th to wait for the 14th. But on the day itself I'll probably just talk to and think of her the whole day while I go about whatever I'm doing then.

After some deliberation, I've decided to re-watch my favourite episodes of Azumanga Daioh featuring her on the 14th.

Now I would watch every single episode she's in, but due to time constraints I had to narrow it down a bit. I feel it'd be better than just a box of chocolates... Though I might do that as well anyway, for the sake of tradition.

I'm waiting on a devart friend to draw a heart with Osaka and I in it, and it says "I'm baka for Osaka!" near it.

However I'm not sure she's gonna deliver on time, so maybe one of you fellows could draw it for me?

Not as impressive as the Asuka one, but to be honest this takes 7-9 hours (only 9 frames) and animation is harder than it looks... I don't have a high-end tablet and you have to trace pretty much perfectly for these sorts of subtle movements or else the wobbly lines will get way out of hand, and I don't really have much experience parroting the Madoka art style. Owell.

I also got chocolate and coffee later on for today... Didn't actually do anything the last two years hehehehe...

I'm not too interested in a Valentine's collage for a variety of reasons. I am sick of people who tell me that if I love my waifu, I should participate. But I don't want to do it, and doing something like that doesn't seem to be enjoyable to me.

Well I stuck to my word, I ended up watching six episodes.

Thinking about it, even though I've watched AzuDai many times in the past, I think this was the first time that I watched it after fully embracing this whole waifuism thing. It felt really good connecting with her like that again.

I even got a little teary-eyed on one episode I watched where she cried.

Oh, and I did buy her chocolates as well, in the end. I guess the tradition is set in stone now.
