But that wouldn't be cool or fun. They'll have to stick everyone in padded cells now. They would probably have to be in a straight jacket as well. Fed in a rubber dog bowl, or even forcefed, if necessary. Waste is another issue as well. I don't know how that would be managed in a way that minimizes risk to the participants. I considered an extended catheter, but that could cause a lot of damage to a determined individual. I think the best way to remove excess urea would be to remove the kidneys entirely and implement dialysis ports. This would also ensure the battle has a definite winner in a reasonable amount of time.
Ultimately, there'd have to be periodical forced maintenance.
