There's a big difference between being a snowflake, and sticking up for yourself, fighting injustice, and not rolling over whenever things get hard. Sure America might be a shithole with a long list of things I hate about it, but one thing I will say is that being a doormat is nothing to be proud of.
>I cannot imagine how P could possibly be true; therefore P must be false.
I never said that. I was simply trying to understand why "P" is "P" when P makes no sense.
>The amount of people that miss due to illness probably does not cover the cost of re-doing the entire thing again
Illness isn't the only reason someone might miss it, it's just the most likely reason. All they need is one or two teachers to supervise a small room for the couple of students who missed the first exam. Private schools aren't cheap to attend, and to my understanding attendance is in huge decline. If they can get a few more good students in exchange for paying a teacher to sit in on an exam for an hour or two, that's a small price to pay.
