I was thinking. /ot/ and /so/ permit a sort of tendency to post things that tend to become "shitstorms". Things offend. Trolls and culture-shock outsiders gravitate towards it.

I think we should somehow encourage more posting on theme boards, like /a/, /mai/, /ma/, /fig/, and /mt/, since the latter is basically /ot/ with a decent purpose.

I've remembered the things I have posted and I regret some of them, and I understand that we have a status quo ante we would like to return to in some semblance, and the only thing I can think of is somehow encouraging posting on other boards. I'm afraid of that though, since it may start a trend of "shitposting" on other boards.

I don't think thats possible.

Only a few people will be 'witnessing' a series at any one time, so its hard to get a decent discussion going. Everyone heads to a more active forum to do this because there'll be more people who witness the same thing there. Meanwhile, almost everyone has something in common with the topics in ot or so.
