Tell me about the maids, anon. I've had an eye out for these five for the longest time — but Akane in particular — because maid- and bunny outfits are both of my weaknesses. Is there more to them than what their designs would tell (Asuna the smug, Neru the tsundere, etc.)? Particular tastes, hobbies, quirks? To sum up the maids. They're a unit called "Cleaning & Clearing", commonly called CC. They act like a maid club for Millennium academy, but they're actually something of a covert special ops task force, they're cleaners in other words. They're lead by that angry little red head and take on jobs usually assigned by Millennium's student council, called Seminar, but I think they might also do a bit of freelancing on the side too if I'm not mistaken.
If the anime gets a second season and covers volume 2 of the story, They'll have a large part to play in that.

The reason for the bunny outfits was a particular mission infiltrating an organization in which everyone was wearing bunny outfits. Unfortunately the event was from before I started playing the game myself, and they haven't added it to the recaps yet but I believe it involved taking down an illegal gambling operation on a cruise ship.
There's also a fun side story in which they got stuck running an actual maid café, and were surprisingly good at it.

Why does OP does a better explanation than episode 1 of the BA anime does? Maybe one day I'll read the manga instead and see if that makes sense

She is the one! I watched that whole relationship storyline video. She doesn't hit as close to home as a certain magical girl, but she knows the thrill and is even willing to use herself to get in her fill of ruination. I love her.
