I appreciated the fact that the whole club is pretty much there from the start. I prefer that over the typical two friends hunting for members and introducing a new character each ep.
Also, those mugs looked a lot nicer than I was expecting. I want one!

Much better than I was expecting from the synopsis. I like that it tends to a more iyashikei-esque tone (at least based on the first episode). I wouldn't mind watching an entire episode of Touko and Himeno just gently shaping clay.

I took me way too long to get that wordplay pun in episode 2. I think the literal translation of the subs was a blocker since I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what raccoons in Tajimi had to do with being common. I should have just looked at their text messages:

>Dakara "jimi" na n'da ne
