The latest kirara adaptation, by the author of HaNaYaMaTa – now focused on meta-idols. If you had a chance to watch it, what were your thoughts? I had high hopes (with it being a kirara adaption and with how much I enjoyed hanayamata), but the first episode felt a bit "lazy." The meta-aspect was played into a bit too much, and in return the group dynamics felt weak – not what I'd usually associate with a kirara show.
I gave it a try after seeing this thread and knowing it's a kirara adaptation. I don't normally watch idol shows so I don't have much to say but I thought it was decent. I'm not really into idols though.

I'm enjoying this more than I had initially expected. I'm not even into idols but I think this is the show I'm looking forward to the most this season (so far). >>34948 I think the group dynamics improved as the show goes on.
This some good stuff.
>>35015 Lies.
>>35015 It's very fun and colorful.

>>35018 Here is probably one of the last places I 'd expect Hanomidori to be referenced.
That would be my recommendation too.
Obligatory Kansai-ben.

I'm a bit late to picking this up, but I started watching this recently. I wonder if all the girls in kirara stuff are lezbos, sure seems like it sometimes.
>>35544 Well, yuri teasing is part of the concept of Kirara kei.
>>35544 There were a few boys (and one trap) in blend s. But ochikobore has more blatant yuri pandering and fanservice than is normal
