Who's in the mood for a cup of coffee?
So... were they always able to hear tippy?
>>34892 The manga implies that in like the first chapter, let me try and find the page
>>34892 I thought they just assumed it was ventriloquism?
>>34895 Yep, that's why Chino often covers her mouth when Tippy is talking.
Chino is less cold towards Cocoa and the gang now. Its cute to see her out of her shell now. I bet she was made like this because of the constant cuddling from cocoa.
Do you even lift?
Why was she so mean to Sharo this episode? What did Sharo ever do to her? At first it comes off as a joke about how Sharo won't admit that she's happy but then it starts leaning into these cutting remarks that threw me off. Am I forgetting something?
>>34988 I don't know, it felt weird to me too. I know that in the past their relationship hasn't been as close as cocoa<->chino or cocoa<->chiya, but they're certainly not distant.
>>34989 I mean Sharo is more friends with Rize and Chiya than with Cocoa but that comment gave me the impression that Cocoa doesn't even like her. It feels very out of place, and I can't tell if it's a joke I missed the basis of or something else.
>>34988 Hasn't Sharo always been the group punching bag? I've always felt really sorry for her and wished I could do something to help her.
What a hypocrite, she stole mine!
>>34988 >>34990 I also thought that the ending was a little mean-spirited. Sharo tried her best only to see her effort turn into nothing when cocoa appeared at her workplace.
>>34991 A lot of that was just her terrible luck, not someone being intentionally mean to her.Post edited on 25th Oct 2020, 9:57am
>>34993 That rubbed me the wrong way too. It's not like she doesn't know how hard she worked for that too.
>>34993 >>34996 It seemed like a dick move, but I think that's just because of how it was depicted. I don't think cocoa actually had any bad intentions. She Probably thought it would be fun to join in, and that Sharo would in turn show the kids who the real thief is as she steals the spotlight back and they playfully duke it out. She probably also didn't expect all the kids to actually believe her since cocoa looks nothing like the character where as Sharo is an exact match. If anything I think the kids are just idiots with short attention spans.
>Koko ga Cocoa-san no kōkō Ha! I was waiting for them to make some pun with Cocoa and koukou.Post edited on 3rd Nov 2020, 6:35pm
I had wondered why it was Sharo seemed so poor when she worked the same type of job as the others. Makes sense if she's living outside of her means and going broke paying for an expensive school. That and it seems unlike the others, she's 100% supporting herself alone.
>>35084 I vaguely recall one of the characters (or maybe Sharo herself) mentioning that Sharo was on a scholarship. So I don't think she's necessarily taking on the full tuition burden.
>>35087 Why the money problems then?
>>35088 I'm not sure if it's ever directly explained (maybe someone else can chime in). It could just be that her family isn't well-off (unlike e.g. Chino's since I assume owning a cafe at least puts you somewhere above average). It could also be that she isn't/wasn't necessarily poor on the level of destitution, but previously needed to be frugal which is a habit that's stuck with her.
I'm gonna vote for sex museum!
What a lovely voice. I can listen to a girl like this talk all day.
The classmates are all great.
Finally an entire episode around Rize. It's surprising it took so long.
It's interesting that this season seems to have real character development, not something you usually see in a SOL comedy show.
>>35204 Kirara shows almost always have subtle undercurrents of character development beneath the comedy and casualness. The best ones make use of this characterization to make their portrayal of friendships hyperrealistic and almost tangible. For Gochiusa in particular I feel that this third seasons has been the best out of the three at doing this. In fact when originally watching seasons 1 and 2 I felt pretty lukewarm as the characters presented never felt quite relatable. It's only after season 3 that I felt that close connection, and that made me go back and rewatch the first two seasons under this new light. There's definitely still some characterization in the first two seasons (namely Chino/Cocoa's relationship and the friendships between the main crew), but for some reason the presentation of it didn't strike me as compelling in that first watch. Perhaps it was because such instances were unevenly distributed, and the most memorable occurrences were near the end (e.g. christmas party/camping trip). On the other hand S3 presents it in almost every episode.
I love this anime.
I love Roze
Is there anyone in this series who isn't cute?
I forget sometimes how horrible other image boards can be.
>>35237 The lack of creativity is pathetic.
If where they're living isn't already heaven I don't know what is.
It's a nice treat when winter/christmasy episodes align with current time. The interaction between pairs that normally haven't been together that much (syaro/cocoa, rize/others) is nice to see. S3 keeps outclassing itself with each episode.
the moe is overwhelming.
Why would chino's mom not visit chino? Seems a bit rude.
>>35256 >chino's mom I'm not sure if I missed some sarcasm, but isn't she dead?
>>35274 She's a very lively ghost.
