Seems like for every sport out there you can find an anime about it, typically involving a school club full of cute girls. Can you name any sports that haven't gotten this treatment that you'd like to see animated someday?

Maybe we might get a Korean made anime someday about people playing suncraft2 or underwatch or whatever they're into these days.

Aren't there plenty in the girls playing vrmmo genre though? Unless you mean showing people just sitting at their computer (which would be fine by me, more neets doing x is always welcomed)

Biathlon! And more winter sports in general.

Ice hockey would be cool

Bear hunting or competitive mountaineering.

They'd all end up with broken bones by episode 3. Nasty game.

Arata Sagimori from Saki Achiga-hen came from a family owned bowling ally and she somehow tried to apply those skills to mahjong, but that's really the only mention of bowling I've ever seen in an anime so far in any shape or form.

Don't know if it was ever used but scavenger hunt-type games like geocaching.
It's not a confrontational activity and could be credibly done by cute girls so it could make for a laid back, gentle anime.
Could it even be considered a sport though?

How the hell does that work?

There are a couple of manga based on bowling but only one that is cgdct, as far as I'm aware. And I don't know if that manga is good or bad, seems to be quite niche.

>How the hell does that work?
It didn't, the team was terrible.

I think she applied it in entirely superficial ways anyway, wearing a bowling glove while playing, calling strikes when she wins, that sort of thing.

I think that would be fun. You could show the girls exploring the {city|country} and getting to know different people, etc.

Is chess sport? No, Code Geas doesn't count.

They play Shougi in Japan. There's a few anime based on it already.

Looks like you're getting your wish.

Not that anon (I think?), but yes! It'll probably be shit but maybe not!

Jetskis! Kandagawa Jet Girls!

This Jetmotto remake looks fantastic.

Not exactly a sport and it will probably be an extension of anime like Yuru Camp or Yama no Susume but I'd like an SoL anime dedicated to walking or お散歩. There are already manga in these forms but I thought a cgdct SoL would probably be nice. I enjoy walking and used to take really long walks exploring new terrains and places but haven't done so in years since I've moved.

If only "Yuri on Ice" wasn't already taken as a title.
