It's a slice of life comedy about cute high school girls doing arguably cute things. Enough said.
This makes me wonder. If declining birth rates are such a huge concern to the Japanese. Shouldn't they abolish single sex schools?
>>33155 There's a lot of things they could be doing to improve the situation, but they don't. Even if they did all the logical things in spite of corporate and social pressure, as long as decency is valued above survival, the problem will persist.
>>33155 For the thousandth time it's not a problem. The place is overpopulated as it is and automation going through the roof is going to make so many people redundant it'll kill traditional models of economy and society. Declining birth rates are fine.
>>33157 Except it's becoming underpopulated and are having to let more foreigners in to compensate, and it's quite obvious why that is a bad thing.
Really?
>>33157 >the place is overpopulated Maybe in the cities. There's also the issue of an aging population. Automation is great and all, but it's not quite at the point of making blue collar jobs obsolete.
>>33153 The OP and ED of this are very catchy.
Seems to me harassing a little girl in public while calling her "loli" would be a good way to get in trouble.
I prefer this one. O Maidens in Your Savage Season (荒ぶる季節の乙女どもよ) http://blogsuki.com/archives/2019/07/06/7556/
>>33155 I'm honestly surprised those still exist. Different culture I suppose.
>>33208 I think they are good, they are hardly exclusive to Japan either, even Australia has them.
Episode 7 (Yamai) might have been the strongest one yet. I'm not a particular fan of the slapstick/absurdist comedy genre, but with the OP/ED and character dynamics, this show is oddly captivating.
>>33210 I really enjoy Sawatari's relationship with the girls like Yamamoto. He's a straight man of sorts, but it isn't tiresome nor boring. His tastes in women are also great.
It's moments like this when I wonder not only how did these people become friends, but why are they still friends?
>>33332 The past two episodes have had very scenic openings. If the art style wasn't as "soft" they would make for nice upscaled wallpapers.
He's got good taste.
>>33158 It's over-populated. There's more people in Japan than there are people in Texas and Japan is way smaller than Texas.
>>33158 Populations naturally adapt to the land and what it can comfortably support(first world ones anyway), Japan is not the only one going through this, Germany was(I don't know about now because of all the migrants), Italy is and most eastern European states are. Most western states have large immigrant populations and are still receiving more and in cases like Australia, the US and Canada they also still have large amounts of land that can be used to expand into.
What a fantastic ep. I've seen this same kind of set up countless times, and they always pull a copout for the sake of a cheap laugh while putting off the issue at hand to keep the status quo. I fully expected them to do the same here and it looked like they were going in that direction, only to turn things around at the last minute and actually tackle the issue head on for what ended up being the best resolution one could realistically hope for there. Good stuff.
We've been found out.
