This season's moe comedy anime. I thought there wasn't going to be one, so this was a pleasant surprise. First episode was really lively and fun.
This show seems like a good amount of fun so far. Seeing the first two eps, I'm surprised that there are going to be five girls in total (as seen in the op/ed anyway, sounds like it's going to be overwhelming (in a good way).
>>32181 I really enjoy their antics and the style is very expressive. As long as it holds up this is going to be one of my favourites this year.
...Shana, is that you?
I just wanted to say, I think this is fantastic. Ep1 alone makes this feel like it will easily be my favorite of the season.
Mya-san ruins what could've been the next yuru yuri
Huh, so then is this a prequel to love lab?
The premises for this anime is pretty much everything I could ask for.
>>32234 What makes you say that?
>>32237 Just kidding based on how Hana looks like a younger version of Natsuo and how they both like these crude and ugly curry haired characters.
As cute as everything in this anime is, this has to have been the cutest thing I've seen so far.
Cute show. The first three episodes almost made me drop it because of the over-focus on Mya-san's obsession with Hana (same bland joke repeated over, felt like the first episode of tonari no kyuu) but luckily like tonari the plot improved from there after they brought in kanon & and started focusing more on SoL stuff. >>32332 I'll challenge with Dagashi lady from non non biyori
>>32338 >Mya-san's obsession with Hana That bugged me too. I thought this might be more like Ichigo marshmallow with the attention more spread out and Mya loosing her mind over each and ever new friend as they get brought over, instead of all the focus going to Hana with other characters being brushed off or ignored. The obsession with Hana made this go from feeling like an admiration of general cuteness, to an unhealthy attraction to a child that is a bit awkward to watch.
>>32068 OK I'm trying ep 1 on your recommendation, but if its not good like you say there might be trouble
>>32340 I'd recommend just skipping to episode 5 or so if at first it doesn't seem like the humor in the show matches your taste. As mentioned in (>>32338) the first few episodes don't really reflect the pacing/development of the latter episodes. You won't miss much by skipping.
>>32338 >>32339 I'm so happy to hear others express this sentiment. I actually believed that it was impossible for me to enjoy this show since I'm not an actual lolicon that finds anime-prepubescent girls sexually attractive. Since I've seen others express that this show does change for the better, I think I'll give it another go.
Too saccharine and effeminate for me, but everyones different and i'm glad someone is enjoying this. I liked the art, that pastel/watercolor look reminds me of Hastukoi Limited which is an old favorite. If they had made the NEET fatter and thrown in some flatulence humor I might have picked this series up. Speaking of which, this seem like as good a place as any to complain about the lack of big eating scenes in Hinomaru Sumo and related plumbing type humor. The sumo world has a ton of really good humor in the plumbing category and fantastic fat jokes to go along with them and no anime has exploited that facet of it yet.
>>32344 > If they had made the NEET fatter and thrown in some flatulence humor I might have picked this series up. And everyone else would have dropped it.
Good lord, If her mom knew she was just chucking that thing around like that she'd get her ass whooped into next week.
≥>>32343 I personally don't mind loli or imouto stuff, but humor related to it tends to be cringy, boring and repetitive. The shota scenes in Dragon Maid e.g. were alright since it was done occasionally as comedic relief. But when the entirety of an episode consists of "let's dress up Hana and take pics of her" there's no room for any character development beyond surface level traits and you can't form an emotional bond with any of the characters (which to me is one of the most important aspects of SoL). I brought up Tonari since that initially annoyed me for the same reason. I have no idea why they thought three entire episodes of Akari going "Sofie is like my dolls I want to dress her up" would grab viewer's attention.
>>32345 Lets wait 20 years and see if people still fondly remember this series before we cast scatological humor onto the garbage heap for eternity.
New episode of MYAANEEE out. Who's this girl in the ED?
These two are the cutest!
This episode was so cute! So much friendship and handholding!
I'm going to miss this series when it ends. Every week it lifts my spirits.
How good is it? I'm not very experienced with the genre and would like to watch it
>>32447 I thought the first ep was great, but I lost interest in the ones that followed. It quickly went from unapologetic otaku pandering celebration of cuteness, to awkward borderline lolicon obsessiveness. It did get better as it went on however. As others have said it's something of a rough patch, but by ep5 it gets pretty decent again. I myself thought ep6 was damn good stuff.
I want more Kanon/Kayori episodes. Two cutest girls of the show to me, and their friendship is very heartwarming.
Nothing like a good glomp to start your morning off right.
What is it with NEETs and track suits anyway?
>>32497 Comfy enough to wear indoors to sleep but still not conisdered pajamas, you can go out in them if you absolutely must and they're easy to slip on.
>>32505 I see. Doesn't seem like the sort of thing your average person would just have laying around though, Or are they some sort of high school gym left overs?
>>32509 In anime they're supposed to be usually. But you can buy them no problem and yeah, it's basically what >>32505 said.
Was this a reference to the old ps2 game called siren?
I really hope this catches on, I would love to see more Onee-loli or general yuri oriented animus.
>>32537 >or general yuri oriented animus. Shoujo ai is an entire genre unto itself, so there's no real shortage of those.Post edited on 21st Mar 2019, 12:27pm
>>32538 Still, nobody said that every Shoujo anime is good. I just want more Onee-loli, that's all
Hina can kiss my ass, this girl is clearly the best.
>>32545 Kanon would beg to differ
>>32535 Good eye. I thought it was just an engrish way of saying silent. hehe
>>32545 Hinata gets on my nerves honestly. I mean I like her, but she can get annoying at times.

Who could have ever guessed?
I wanted more of the mom squad. It was nice seeing Mya-nee develop over the series, though. Kinda nostalgic to watch someone starting to gradually try to overcome their social issues like that.
That was a rather unexpected finale ep, and a cute satisfying conclusion. At least we still have the OVA to look forward to for more myaa-nee!
I'm going to miss this series. Every episode felt great to watch, and that last episode was especially great.
She shouldn't say that while wearing something so ugly.
What a nice and cute Anime! It was pretty funny too. I love theatre scenes in Anime so much, especially when it suddenly switches to the world that it's playing in. I liked all girls in it a lot and couldn't really decide for a favourite one. Nice to see that there is a movie coming in octobre 2022. Looking forward to it and a second season which will hopefully come too. cgdct forever!
