From the people who brought you Shirobako comes yet another story of a small town in the countryside desperately trying to boost tourism by exploiting young girls.

How do you miss such a huge part of your contract?
Things like living arrangements would have surely come up at some point, and payment for one day vs one year would be a massive difference/red flag.

I like this show.

They certainly put in a good effort, but they only sold what like six or seven boxes?
Kind of a more realistic outcome that way honestly. Most other anime would have them sell 893 boxes and still fail.

>>28394
I'd have tried selling them online, probably on preexisting market place sites.

Could also bend the rules a bit and offload them in bulk to stores in the bigger cities at cost or even lower since they're all gonna go bad anyway.

That fat old fart who wouldn't rent out his empty shop is an example of what I hate about Japanese culture sometimes. How hard would it be to just say "yeah I rented to some city folks before, they fucked me over, I'm not doing that shit again." Instead this grown man acted like a little bitch about it. Like a 15 year old girl who was raped and doesn't want to talk about it out of shame.

It doesn't have to do ANYTHING about Japanese culture.
People are like that EVERYWHERE on this fucking planet.
And your behaviour is an example of what I hate the most about Japanimation centric image/textboards: insensate Japanese bashing.

You're a little too upset, but I absolutely agree with you. It's very common to see people judge things that they see in anime, but they lack the culture, knowledge, experience and/or exposure to know things like X or Y happen or are the same some-/everywhere else.

What do you mean? Why would the Western internet care about a small country in South-East Asia? I don't really browse anywhere except here unless I'm specifically looking for something these days.

Because the thirst for shitting on things is neverending.
Also, the concept of ''western internet'' doesn't make much sense, it's more English speaking internet if you ask me.

Wow, sorry. I don't hate japan or anything of the sort. I love most things about it in fact and 'usually' don't have bad things to say about it.
I simply found the situation presented in this anime very annoying, and I assumed this was only an issue due to cultural norms in japan. People here wouldn't keep something like that to themselves and would instead openly talk about it to everyone they could. I've been lead to believe it's common in japan to keep one's problems to themselves and stay very private about much of their lives issues, while seeing examples of this often in anime. All too often I see situations arise that are only an issue because someone will not say what needs to be said. They get blamed for things and rarely stand up for themselves or defend their actions, and I figured this was because that's just how Japanese people are. If you tell someone here they're wrong or if they feel wronged, they'll argue about it all day, not keep their feelings a secret and never say anything.
I'm sorry if I pissed if you guys off, I didn't mean to offend any of you. If I'm mistaken about the culture and it's customs then I apologize for my ignorance.

"all's well that ends well"
That was a pretty nice ending. Or at least I thought so until I realized all the characters likely died in a huge horrible car crash due to driving in a convoy while not watching the road.
