If you wanna see some blood, this show's got you covered.
i downloaded the first episode, watched about 5 minutes, then bailed. if shoenen is for males age 10-15, then i'd say this show is seinen for males age 15-18. i mean it seems seinen, but not something i'd enjoy in my twenties you know? am i mistaken about this show? or did i make a good call dropping it?
>>27121 I've only seen the first ep so far, but I can tell you that all of the blood and gore is contained in the first 10 minutes or so. At the midpoint the main character gets transported to another world. Second half of the ep is just the main character talking to other characters that were also transported there. I agree though that this does seem like something meant to appeal mostly to very young immature males. Might be the artstyle, but something about it reminds me a lot of hellsing.
>>27121 I don't think age should have anything to do with how much you enjoy something. Plenty of people in their twenties and thirties enjoy shows like PreCure and Love Live, which are targeted towards children and teenagers. After all, fun things are fun, regardless of how old people get. If you're really having that many second thoughts about dropping this show, then you might as well take the time out of your day to watch the remaining 15 minutes of the first episode before making a concrete decision. I'm not sure if you got to that point in the episode, but it does become an isekai series. So take whatever you will out of that.
>>27125 If you're not in the target demographic for something it's less likely that you might enjoy it, exceptions don't make the rule.
>>27126 You're right, but what I'm trying to say is more along the lines of "don't let demographics affect how much you enjoy a series."
Seems this is gonna be a bloody gory mess all the way to the end I think.
It may be a somewhat vulgar and a touch on the immature side, but I'm curious to see where they're going with it and think the concept is kind of neat. It's a lot like fate/stay night in a way, in how they resurrect and assemble these legendary heroes from across history. Only instead of having masters and fighting in a battle royal, the servants here split off into two factions and fight a war on each other in what seems like middle earth?
Uziel Gal to the rescue? Haha
Pretty fun episode, so far I'm really enjoying it. The art style is nice and I like the humor. But then again I do have an immature sense of humor.
Things sure slowed down once ep4 hit, but can't say that was unexpected. It'd be nice though if they wouldn't slam on the breaks for a whole ep just to dump some exposition.
Why are the Japanese so obsessed with raping elves?
Looks like someone took a wrong turn and missed the jojo universe.
oh lord...
It's over for now I guess? so... what happened to that Vietnam solider from the first ep?
>>27259 what happened to "show; don't tell"?
