I've heard some bad things about it, but I'm not really sure about anything regarding the game itself.

Regarding the bad things, I don't remember them, but I remember there that there was some negativity towards it It would be wise to do as much research as possible.

There have been some very nice patches lately. the dev team are definitely working on fixing all the problems with the game, which should have never been released in the state it was.

I'm on the Istory server but I havent logged in for weeks. whoever you join up with in this game is bound to quit. I might start playing again if it ever launches on PS3.

I play on Lindblum but I haven't logged on in awhile, except to check out the recent hunter's moon event.

What's the end game been like? Loved FFXI's pre-CoP, and to an extent, post-CoP end game content, but I haven't heard much about FFXIV's. Also, have they added/fixed the lack of chocobos/long travel times?

One thing I don't like too much about the game and I suspect won't be changed, are the area designs. They look so lifeless compared to FFXI's.
