Hi guys. Have any of you heard about day trading?

It's a way to make some money from home. I haven't tried it myself, but I think it sounds like something I would want to get into, what with the lack of social interaction. You do need money to actually make money, but there's an option to practice virtual trading, which is neat and realistic. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

If you're a dummy, you're sure as hell not going to make any money currency trading. The forex market is legitimate, but the appeals to regular people to get into it all have a get-rich-quick feel to them; the exact kind that actual scams use to pull in suckers.

Forex seems like it would be a zero-sum game, which is bad enough, but it's actually a negative-sum game because of all the commissions and fees involved. There's also the fact that big firms do this kind of thing for a living, and 99 times out of 100 you are not going to beat them. You may as well go to the casino and start betting on roulette.

Meh, I got my own way of making money online, which finally seems to be paying off a little, I think, I might still be barely braking even with all the fees involved.

Don't do it. I've lost money from this, and you will too. Guarantee.

Learn your way around Unix systems, start taking contracts for data/information theft off Tor, hack these systems and you'll be raking in the money

Best you can do with investing is getting a lot of money and putting it in a few slow, stable companies you can follow closely. Don't ever put all your money in once place and don't get let down if you lose some; buy low, sell high, after all. Get rich slowly, not get rich quickly.

Its actually extremely easy to steal credit card details, etc, off people on the internet. However, it takes skill not to get caught for it.

Hes asking is it that easy to hack into shit, that it can be described as easy as that. I.e. that it's like you're living in a cyberpunk universe (well we ARE)

There's a bunch of sites on Tor which sell that shit. Unsurprisingly, a lot of them are Russian.

Why is it always the Russians?
