Would you like to have children, /so/? What is your thought about them and propagating the species?
>>3893
I like kids, but I'm morally opposed to procreation.
>>7057 Same here. I'm a philanthropic antinatalist
>>7057 This, a million times. I hope one day it would be possible and feasible to mass-produce humans (as i.e. fruits are now), who would be of a better quality than the ones living today.
>>7068 Didn't expect to run into another one on /tc/. Cheers! >>7149 When I said "morally opposed to procreation," I actually meant "we should stop making new people and go extinct." (Fat chance of it ever happening that way, of course, but that's neither here nor there)
Not really, no.
I like the idea of kids, and I like some kids, but I don't really care for most of them. Although I'm contemplating becoming a sperm bank donor, in 30 years or so, I could die easy knowing I've fathered several thousand children.
I think making another human share both my genes and my company would be an act of utmost sadism.
>>7210 >>7057 That's why I love tc, I would rarely find someone who shares those opinions anywhere else.
Do you mean to personally give birth to them? Because I know some of you people are masochistic enough to want to endure child birth.
I don't know how I feel about this. It seems to me that bringing more people into the world as-is is immoral, but at the same time it might be our only chance for one day making sentient beings whose existence isn't mostly suffering.
>>6916 hell no.
I support adoption for anyone who wants to be a parent. I wouldn't say it's immoral to bring more people into the world (overpopulation is a problem in the third world, but not so bad in the first world), but my genes aren't so hot so I could go for not procreating myself.
