After listening to you I don't really know how to answer.

I don't know shit about cars, I don't play half of the games /v/ likes and I don't watch half of the anime that /a/ likes. I don't know shit about cars or computers either. I thought I was pathetic for a while, contemplating suicide and generally being shitty person. At least you visit IRC, I'm scared of just chatting with people because I never know what to say. Even when posting this I'm being hesitant because I'm nervous about conversation. All I can do is focus on something hoping I won't think about myself or my situation. The anime did help me though, I found a great passion in boxing. I'll never be a professional or probably even fight in a spar but the feeling of exhaustion from running around a field and the pain in my knuckles from punching a makeshift punching bag (a tire hanging from a rope).

I can't answer you very well because I have trouble voicing my own thoughts but I'm glad I was born and I'm grateful for the life that I live. I'll chase my dreams no matter how outlandish they may be. I hope that you may find happiness in your life and a reason for your existence.

Regarding the first paragraph. You say stuff like you don't watch enough anime to fit in, but if you did, what would you think when people started talking about other things? Might it not be something like "I don't fit in because I'm too narrowly focused on anime, all these other guys have different or more diverse interests"? Hell, what if people started talking about anime you weren't even keeping up with?

I know how you feel, it's hard to have a conversation going on around you and have nothing to contribute to it.

And if people actually disliked you on the IRC they would be putting you on ignore or you'd be getting banned. They've identified one trait that gets on their nerves a little, you can't take that as contempt for your whole personality.

How is this not drama queen? You are looking for drama and putting yourself down on your own. Nobody said anything before you did and I am pretty confident no one thinks you're an asshole either, if that was the case you would probably be banned a long time ago.
