Tomorrow is May Day, or Labour Day in the international "communist" world.

In the United States, this day is called "Loyalty Day," and is celebrated by citizens and puts emphasis on loyalty to the United States, obeying its laws and authority without question, and reaffirmation of allegiance to the United States.

Thank god most of us here don't even know that this holiday exists or we would all think we're in one giant disguised Nazi rally in Nuremberg.

I did not know this and it made me chuckle. I thought May 1st was the same for everyone, like a day to celebrate no work for (almost) everyone/celebrate the workers of this world. Good to know.

No, we have our Labor Day in September, because fuck them commies.

Also, I'm an American and I've never heard of Loyalty Day. Maybe the place I grew up wasn't quite American enough?

Same.

It's called worker's day in my country.
Does that mean I'm a comunist?

I haven't heard of it either. I thought the OP was joking until I looked it up

You live in a country that is not America.
Do you really think you could possibly be anything but a Communist?

I didn't know either until someone in the Air Force told me. He texted me that they were doing a celebration in South Carolina and he thought it was a joke too.

It's a shame the United States sucks these days.
>> No. 6030 [Edit]
I've never once in my life felt proud of my country. I like a lot of things about our culture, and I'm glad to live here, but the idea of "national pride" as it's usually conceived of is totally unknown to me.

And I'm sure as hell not taking part in some dumbshit groupthink "Loyalty Day."

they also call it 'Law Day' in the USA. two separate holidays to suppress workers' self-determination

Bit late but here it is, anyway:

You'll notice that countries where protests happen do have some kind of socialist past.
