It's a nice idea, but I don't think you really need sponsors to deliver such a gift. Since stars and constelations are, indeed, all culture/history-customary, you could as well name/design one specially for her; one with a form that had some special meaning for you and her and wich, by the means of amateur astronomy, you could start learning to localize among the existing ones and follow throughout the seasons...
