You aren't supposed to think of them as just robots. They have transcended that. Girls like this are supposed to remind you that it doesn't matter who she is or what she is, you are supposed to accept her for herself and nothing more. Nothing else matters. She is her own persona; if you can't accept that, then ;_;.

I sincerely believe that robots, or any other virtual/poetic/aesthetical/artificial/fictional entity, are quite better (more deserving and appropriate) subjects of love than real people; and that love itself it's only true in art, understood as the field of pure/autonomous signs.
