So, I just got done celebrating Osaka's birthday. Since Azumanga Daioh came out in February 1999, I have concluded that Osaka was "born" that same time. And since Osaka was 15 in '99, that means she was born in 1984.

So, in February 2011, she is 27 years old. Six years older than I!

I wanted to take a picture, but I don't have my camera with me (it's at a friend's). So I drew a little sketch in ms paint of the set-up. I put a standard "Happy 27th birthday Osaka!" message on a little cup-cake with rainbow sprinkles. I toasted chocolate milk to her as I think she likes chocolate milk. I had a little framed picture of her that I had witness to this little ceremony.

I wished for a year of success and happiness between us.
