the inconsistent shading is irksome.

Either paint all the nails and lips, or leave them as only outlines, but going back and forth repeatedly makes it odd.

They REALLY exaggerated this eating scene in ep 2, I couldn't help but laugh a bit.

I get that, and it does show heavily from one scene which is very well drawn back to back with another scene that is significantly less so. But in this case... BOTH HANDS ARE TOGETHER IN THE SAME GOD FORSAKEN FRAME AND DID HALF OF IT WELL AND THE OTHER HALF WENT TO 90% THERE AND THEN THE GUY SAID 'fuck it'.

I have to say what I enjoy the most out of this show is the music. It's all very relaxing and cute.

i wish there was more detailed cooking scenes and more of a culinary focus. i was hoping for something like yakitate japan with fan service. also ryo is really too fat to be in the lead role. they try to hide it with clever camera work, but she is clearly overweight.

Speaking of skin, do any of you like different animal skins? A crisp chicken skin is something I used to eat as a child, and where I live we have a tradition of eating pork roast served along with the pork rind. I have noticed that salmon skin is really fatty, but for some reason haven't tried to eat it.
