Winner of the second season of the thing where we choose an anime and watch it together or not and hopefully talk a little about it or something else entirely. Get the recommended mess of a mish mash of different releases here. It starts 08/06 at 4AM UTC(same thing as GMT). For those that didn't participate yet, here's the steps on how to join us: 1- Get Syncplay and one of the supported video clients. 2- Get the anime chosen for the current "season", getting the suggested release is encouraged but it should work with anything that has simmilar timing 3- When the time we decided comes, open the episode we'll be watching on that day with syncplay and use those data to connect to our room: Server address: syncplay.pl:8995 Default room: tc Syncplay has no chat feature, so you may join us at IRC(#tohno-chan at irc.rizon.net) to talk about the anime as we watch it.

Syncplay isn't working. Something about "connection with server failed". Then it's something about Syncplay.lua or something. It's clear that Satan doesn't want this to happen, so I'll watch it alone.

Today nobody other than me showed up to watch PPD, so episode 7 should be pushed back to tomorrow. It was bound to happen eventually I guess...
Maybe next time we'll pick a show people actually want to watch.

I just want to tell you I'm watching this and trying to keep up, but at least for now can't use syncplay. I think this is a nice idea and you shouldn't give up.

Anyone else having problems with sinkplay? I'm using the most recent version and ever since the last update the piece of shit keeps crashing on every fucking occasion and refuses to work with any player other than vlc.
