I have the same feelings for basketball, soccer, and tennis. I tried all of them, but my ball coordination simply did not improve with practice, even after I practiced soccer daily for four years. I mean I was not expecting to be a star player, but even my goal of being a competent throw-in seemed impossible. They were all just a waste of time.
At least with track I could do the one mile and two mile competently, so I was happy there.
