Didn't make a thread last week since I felt ambivalent about the first ep. It seemed to have the right idea about what a comedy show with minor harem touches should look like but somehow the execution left me with lukewarm feelings.

Ep 2 was much better however so I think I'll keep following this. Focused on comedy first and foremost, the characters are quirky, the designs and artstyle are fairy simple but they look good, quality cast (when was the last time I heard Takahashi Mikako?). I'm interested in how this one will turn out in the long run.

Normally I wouldn't go out of my way to actually bump a thread when there's seemingly no interest whatsoever in this show but I genuinely feel that it might be the best the season has to offer. The first ep was pretty bad actually.

Not much to discuss (not to mention there's nobody to actually discuss it with) but if manzai routine is your thing this is worth checking out.

it's no subsitute for gintama, but it's at least entertaining enough.
I look forward to it more than most of the shows that started this season, anyway.

Is it just me or does this get better with every single episode? Ep 1 was somewhat medicore and this week's ep was surely the best one yet.

Funny because I felt this week's ep was the first one that didn't manage to top last week's. Before that it went 1>2>3>4>5. Not like it was bad but they spent too much time on that sinlge scene in the hallway in the first half.

I bet there are tons of people who dropped this show after the first ep since it was really subpar and made it look like one of those 'club with minimal number of required members' stories and it's nothing like it. I think I would've dropped it, too, but before it began airing I checked the tags on mangaupdates and thought that'd it'd be similar to Fujimura-kun no Mates.

Oh man, I totally forgot about it the week it aired but I wanted to make a post about that whole Magical Village thing. Based on the name I was sure it'll be Animal Crossing and when Takao started describing it I thought it's Dragon Quest. Turns out it was Ghosts 'n Goblins. Which makes sense since the series is called Makaimura (Demon World Village) in Japanese.

I was really disappointed it's not Animal Crossing, though. Then again Takao has good taste in games so it's all's well I guess.

Actually when you take the Japanese name into account it's pretty obvious that she's talking about Ghosts 'n Goblins right off the bat, it's just that the English title sounds nothing like the Japanese one which makes things a tad more confusing.

This week on D-Frag: nothing mentionworthy happens: the ep.
I was wondering if it'll run out of steam sooner or later; it's been really impressive since ep 2. I guess you can't have 10 straight eps of quality content.
