Yeah, I watched the trailer a few hours ago, that one and Kizumonogatari's. It's kind of disappointing that they're prequels but it's Hanekawa and Shinbo, so how could I not be damned excited.

I am absolutely loving it, throughout (both fanservice and drama).

I am expecting a lot of fanservice.

I watched the first half.

It seems extremely disjointed with lengthy fanservice/comedy scenes interspersed with more serious stuff, and very little carrying it aside from visuals. I sure hope Kizumonogatari lives up to Bakemonogatari rather than fucking things up like Nisemonogatari and this thing here, but after two lackluster sequels I'm not too optimistic about it.

I never said I didn't like the show, it's just that showing a beautifully drawn hand and a shit one back to back, with the shit hand next to another gorgeous section of artwork, it really sticks out and ruins it. The kicker is the entire part was a still, which makes it stick out all that much more as an inanimate bad section.

As the other anon said, it will most likely be fixed with the BD/DVD, but it's still irksome nonetheless.
