Really short episodes, but still worth checking out all the same.

I read the manga a bit and it lived up to it quite nicely I think. I'm gonna keep watching. I just wish it were longer.

>I just wish it were longer.

Yeah, same here. I thought most shorts were at least 10 minutes long.

5 minute long episodes is a somewhat common.
Such shows usually aren't very popular though, and don't get talked about very often.

Makes you wonder why they do it in the first place.

I can't say for sure, but I think there might be some promotional motives behind it, around 25% of the second ep time at the end was dedicated to selling an album if I recall correctly.

I quite like the short anime format. Nyanpire and Fujilog are both 5 minutes long, both are excellent.

What is your reasoning behind this claim?

Anime OPs are almost never longer than one minute and thirty seconds long.
Recorder to Randsell is no exception.

also, could you maybe try and not type like a moron?

That's probably not possible.
>> No. 8224 [Edit]
would be nice if they focused a little more on Atsushi.
This isn't exactly the first anime to feature a mature girl that looks like a little girl...
not that I have a problem with her being in the show, it's a good pairing with both characters complementing each other almost perfectly.
there just aren't nearly as many, little boys in grown men's bodys in anime, I think.

Grown men don't sell BDs, little girls do.

Tell that to the fujoshi hoards.

Last night I read that Hirano is past of the cast.
Gives me hope for more Haruhi.

was rather surprised that ep6 focused on Atsushi, but didn't involve the police at any point.
the joke was starting to wear thin.

I was really hoping we got past this crap already.

I kind of like Atsushi, but even for someone with a mind of a child, you'd think he'd learn by now that people are going to give him a hard time when they see him alone with classmates.
for that matter, why does everyone automatically assume he's a pedo kidnapper or whatever?
Here's a crazy idea, maybe he's the kid's parent or care taker?
The father in Mitsudomoe actualy looked like a menacing creep, so it made sense, but Atsushi is apparently smoking hot.
The general populace loves to judge books by their covers and believes scary looking people do scary things, that was the idea behind Mitsudomoe after all, and this show is feeding into stereotypes for it's humor, so why would they overlook this that contradicts it?
must be crazy to think a hot guy would have any kids right?

Why doesn't he get shit like this when he's with Atsumi? didn't seem like anyone cared when they went out together, and she looks just as much like a little kid as the little kids in this show!

and do the police have the memory of gold fish or what?
how many times do they have to get him out of jail or whatever until they remember him and his situation, how hard is it to even remember? are there a lot of manchildren in japan.... ... ...who actually ARE manchildren?
For that mater, (please correct me if I'm wrong) isn't it part of their job for police in japan to keep track of residence in their area, get to know them and remember them to some extent?
like who lives in what homes and what not?
if they can do that, can't they leave a note somewhere that could remind them of the situation?
