Back in the day I wanted to watch Ghost Hunt so I searched for a batch. I found something and downloaded the whole thing without paying proper attention. To my surprise what I downloaded wasn't Ghost Hunt, it was Ghost Hound.

I probably wouldn't watch it just because I downloaded it but when I found it was directed by Nakamura Rutaro (director of Kino no Tabi and Lain) I decided it might be worth a try. Overall I didn't like it as I hate when someone tries to pass such fairy tales as if they were real, especially if one tries to back them up with some kind of pseudoscience.

However, the OP was really rad. One of the best OPs out there in my opinion.

I'm watching Fairy Tail because of kugimiya voicing happy. It's really bad, but I'm still watching.

I'm also watching DC because of kugimiya, but I think it's a nice show.

Watched Dragon Crisis because of Kugumiya Rie. Dropped on episode 8 because the MC is an enormous cunt, even for a harem MC.

Watched Ga-Rei Zero because of that gif where Kagura kisses Yomi in the back of a car, and was pleasantly surprised when the show turned out to be pretty good.

I watched Eiken to see just how bad it was.

At least it didn't disappoint.

Over the years (or rather over last few months) I have developed some willpower not to watch series just based on the voice cast. I haven't heard Rie in a while so I considered both of these series but in the end I had enough self control not to watch either.

But that's mostly because Rie isn't that high on my priority list. The worst shit I've gotten myself into was watching HSotD solely because Kitamura Eri voiced Saya. OTL Now I'm watching OniiKoto for the same reason. Hopefully, this will be the last time I got tricked.

Oh, and I will probably pick up Fractale (Kobayashi Yuu is my number two) but it seems like it might be good (noitaminA anime with ridiculously bad ratings - sounds like anime of the year material).

I've seen a number of shows just becuase a character looked cute or something, like with queen's blade and Nanael or quiz magic for Shalon, and kind of like soul taker in witch I was hoping it would have more of Koyori from the spin off Nurse witch Komugi-chan (which it didn't) and I guess Yoake Mae Yori Ruri Iro Na for Feena (as if there's any other reason to watch the show)

I watched phantom becuase I bought a figma from it.
Watched Madlax becuase of a certain song in the ost, (posted) and the show wasn't half bad at all.
endured Gravion because I found I had a poster from it, same for Najica Blitz Tactics I think, although that one wasn't half bad.
Taishou Yakyuu Musume becuase of a .gif, glade I checked it out.
Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica, because of a number of .gifs (about a certain van) turned out very enjoyable.
Moetan, becuase I wanted to learn English.
MM! becuase of some caps, a .gif and some fan art, in spite of it having most of the elements in anime that would turn me away.

Watched Nurarihyon no Mago because of this character, in part because I like Snow Women and in part because of her voice.
The show is a generic shounen fightan anime, although pretty well-executed for what it is. I eventually got bored about half-way through and dropped it.

The only reason I watched Lucky Star is because I though some of the opening dance edits were funny.

Weren't it for Lucky Star though, I wouldn't have gotten this interested in anime in the first place, so it's all right.

I watched Darker than Black for Yin. The show itself was pretty cool.

I started watching Level E recently because I used it to get my ratio up on BakaBT, along with a few other torrents with tons of leechers. It's pretty good, pretty funny.

And a few years ago I watched Gurren Lagann because a youtube poop of the first episode got me interested.

Natsume Yuujinchou because lots of people said it was really good. The slow pace killed me and I dropped it after the second episode. I wish I was trolling but I am not.

I watched Rozen Maiden because of the desu spam. I figured that if the desu spammers were willing to keep it up for three years then there must be something worthwhile instigating them and I was kind of right. The show was good, but Suiseiseki was a piece of shit.

Code Geass from all the H Doujinshi that came from it. From there I found a pretty solid show.

I prefer Junk. She was my favorite when I started watching it. Then comes Suiseiseki and Souseiseki.
