I've picked up more this season than I have since 08, and I'm glad to say that most of them are worth it.

Definitely fucking agree. I'm a guy who usually only follows 2 or 3 shows per season and I'm following 6 this season. I guess this makes up for the lackluster summer and (probably) the upcoming winter season which doesn't really have anything that interests me so far.

Only 6? Come on, you can do better than that! I'm wathcing 'only' 7 shows: Oreimo, P&S, Kuragehime, Soredemo Machi, Bakuman, Arakawa S2 and Ika Musume and I can say that I enjoy all of them, so you're probably missing out on something (unless we're talking about P&S - I understand that it's defnitely not something everybody can enjoy). And even then there are some other shows I might check out at a later date - I'm especially interested in Star Driver (since it's supposed to be pretty FAAABULOUS) and Otome Youkai Zakuro (the premise is retarded in a way that resembles Strike Witches - sounds like something I'd enjoy).

No, P&S is my favourite of the season. I'm not following Bakuman, however, since I read enough of the manga and I'm not going to bother watching JC staff do an average adaptation that offers nothing new. And I didn't count Arakawa S2 since I kinda watch that on/off and I'm not exactly following it on a week by week basis.

I've temporarily stopped watching You are Delicious/Umasou since I figured that'd be better to just watch it all the way through once it finishes.

Pretty good season, but I wouldn't call it the best.
Ika Musum is really nice, and I actually find myself looking forward to new episodes of milky holmes.
most of the shows I started I found kind of mediocre or uninteresting.
Index started pretty slow with that whole battle nun thing, but did get a bit more interesting as of late, the main character in Oreimo no imoto makes it almost hard to watch the show, MM was.. interesting, to say the least, but haven't seen enough of it to really form a proper opinion yet, and fortune is just so unbelievably bland I think.

Over all I'd call it not half bad, but not an awesome season either, guess I just need more moe in my diet, or maybe I should try out some more shows..

Summer 2010 was awful; one of the worst seasons in recent memory. Fall 2010 has completely redeemed it. 2010 in general has been pretty good when the two major seasons (spring and fall) turned out to be good. Fall 2010 has been my favorite season since fall 2008, although I was watching a lot less shows per season back then. This season, I'm following 11 shows, and I think all of them are at least mildly entertaining.

I don't know, can't honestly say I remember the season and what shows thay had very well.
I was tempted to say summer 10 in spite of the hate it seems to be getting, mostly because of strike witches, but after checking back on chartfags chart of the season, it didn't scare much better, with 6 watched shows and 1 drop.
spring 10, with 6 watched and 1 I've just started on now that I've found subs.
winter with just 5 watched...

So I don't know, for me at least, they all seem to be around the same level of quality.
I watch half a dozen shows, one or two each season I find really enjoyable and the rest I find just okay.

I'm watching Oreimo, Soremachi, P&S, Arakawa S2 and Index II

I plan to pick up Star Driver and Ika Masume sometime soon.

Kuragehime is good and SnO and Arakawa are worth a watch but in general this season lacks a solid lineup.
Even Winter 10/11 looks much better with GOSICK, Fractale, Hourou Musuko, as well as several others that look promising.

I'm not watching any of those and I still think it;s a great season. It's been a long time since I've looked forward to a show every week like I have with Milky Holmes. Kuragehime is also really enjoyable, and so is Bakuman. I've dropped quite a few shows, but the worst season in a few years? Hardly.

May not be the worst season. I tend to forget what the other seasons had after a season or two.
The shows I look forward to the most now are things carried over from last season (LoLH and Shiki)

I hear good things about LoLH, even though I wasn't really interested in it at the time. Maybe I'll pick it up once it finishes. The year has been overall pretty great with long running series, for me at least, with Heartcatch, Katanagatari, and Gundam to a lesser extent. I'm really looking forward to the next Tamayura OVA as well.

I agree that next season looks good, too. I'll be watching everything you listed and more, hopefully.

Although I do like P&S a lot, I personally feel that this season is great because for me, since there's a lot of good (but not great) amusing shows. Other seasons might have one particularly awesome show, but that would be it, which is why I usually never follow more than 3 shows a season.

I don't know, but Winter 2011 looks like a better season.

For the record, I'm following Index S2, TWGOK and Star Driver. But Oreimo is close even though it's literally unbearable to watch with Kirino in it. MM! is an interesting show, but still didn't enjoy it.

I've watched Milky Holmes but I didn't particularly enjoy it compared to say, TWGOK or Index S2. I don't know what that says about myself. There are shows there that I could be interested in, but I have no idea what to actually expect. I don't want to watch a show and then end up dropping it over some form of disappointment.

What I'm watching:

Oreimo: Shit went places after first 2 episodes. I'm not gonna drop it but I wouldn't recommend it if someone asked me about my opinion.
Ika Musume: Cute. I'd say you're missing out if you're not following it.
P&S: I think all that needs to be said has already been said. Either you'll like it or you'll hate it, there's no way it's gonna leave you lukewarm. I just happen to like it.

What I'm definitely gonna watch:

Kuragehime - I'm still hoping some decent subbers will pick this up. After [gg]'s 'hipster transvestites' in ep 1 I promised to never watch [gg] again (well, I made that promise long ago but I really wanted to watch Kuragehime so...).
Bakuman - I'm gonna marathon it once it's 'over' (as in, once the first season ends).
Soredemo - again, poor quality of subs.
Arakawa S2 - I'll watch it at my pace once ti's done.

Waht I might watch:

Star Driver, Zakuro, Milky Holmes, TWGoK

Just marathoned MM! up to the latest episode, and I'm loving it! I almost dropped it, but it's exactly the type of comedy that I needed to start my finals week. And I'm starting to like Oreimo, almost the same feeling I got when I watched B Gata H Kei earlier this year.
