This is pretty silly and extremely low budget, but works nicely all the same.
It's good to just get a random laugh (a bit à la Lucky Star) once in a while.

I'll probably watch all of it in one go once some batch will be released, I'm too lazy to wait a whole week for another 3 minutes worth of anime. Same goes for all the Puchimases, Ai Mai Mis etc. etc. Everything is 3m long this season.

You could say the same aboug gdgd Fairies, OP.

The point of the show seems to be to introduce people, particularly Tokyoites, to Kansai culture.
I find it quite interesting.

It becomes moot, put that way; because some people might find the empathic comical approach somehow deprecating, as in the end they're building trivial stereotypes about the people from Osaka.

Yeah, it does kind of seem that way. It doesn't seem like it's intended to teach people of a different culture, but rather simply poke fun at it.

Some of the stuff reminds me of similar stereotypical jokes in the US. For instance, the "Osakans talk while watching TV" thing reminded me of how black people are always perceived to react loudly and obnoxiously to movies.

Well, it's popping up already...
However, if such things were said about my animalistic fellow countrymen, I couldn't agree more.

This is my favorite show this season. Kansai is moé
>> No. 14014 [Edit]
I've enjoyed this show quite a bit. I usually don't bother with the shorts, but I'm glad I picked this one up.

Even though every episode of this show has ben fantastic- as well as being educational - the most recent episode, the 10th, has exceeded previous expectations.

Fuck them. Is it really so hard to say: "sorry, I don't know" instead of sending one to hell and back?

That blue-haired heroine looks really cute in chibi. I don't really like anime, but I think I'll give this show I try.
>> No. 14368 [Edit]
Ah I didn't think there was anyone actually watching this. I dropped it because the animation was awful.

The best anime of the season just ended.
Last ep was fantastic.
That how it is

I wish it had been... well, somewhat like an actual ending of an actual series (even for SoL standards), but it was fun to watch.
