From the spoilers I've gotten from LN readers he's actually a closet sadist and there is a chance he might go yandere at some point.

He also only treats his sister as a sister because of a promise he made to his mother, in reality he wishes his life had gone the same way as his novels, that's why he names his characters the same name this way.

Often time crunchyroll (their rips from other sites suck, but it's mostly just crunchyroll) subs are the best subs for a show. There's almost never anything wrong with them, so I don't really get why people act like horriblesubs are so bad.

as for best subs? not so much. They're fast, yes, as they get a copy of the show in advance for a head start on subbing it, and better than hadena, yes. It's true that they have gotten much, much better in recent years, and are at best on par with any of the other speedsub TLers, but CR does tend to fuck up on several things, and for reference/japanese-type stuff where a TL note or two would be quite helpful, never one. Even the groups that rip subs from CR generally have a TLer go through it and make enough changes regularly enough to warrant it as something that should be done each episode (and do OP/ED/signs/writing subs).
