You seem to underestimate how many synthetic items women will put on or in themselves in the pursuit of beauty, they don't just draw themselves. pvc nails, fake eyelashes/eyebrows, contact lenses, rhinoplasty, silicone breast implants, wigs and the list goes on. They don't call it plastic surgery for nothing you know. then there's things like pushup bras and corsets. They go much father than simply tossing on a costume to negate their ugly natural self and achieve their version of beauty, even if it means undergoing massive amounts of pain while having their bodies gutted and distorted. then there's also people who undergo sex changes...

The reason why it's not against the rules is because that is not true at all, it's only a a few vocal individuals who think they can speak for everyone. You can't compare it to "/b/shit, 3dpd porn, sex, memes" because unlike that stuff this is not unanimous. As people have said before, substance abuse is very much a part of this culture and for many is a form of dealing with depression. surely you wouldn't act this way if someone said they cut themselves or drink to kill their pain would you?

The daily report thread is one of the most popular threads we have and it's way better than having every person make a brand new thread for what happened to them each day. We have a fine system right now, which is some super-threads and occasional topics, which would fit in the super thread, but are made into their own thread.

You're just reiterating what we already have in place. Catch-all threads are nice because they allow people who don't want to make their own "ALL ABOUT ME LOL" thread to contribute to the site in a meaningful way.

It's not like we're approaching /bun/ status, anyway; we're cruising right along just fine. I don't get why you think this needs iterating.

I'll use myself as an example:
I would never dream of posting anything resembling a blog post anywhere but in a general thread for everyone; that's why I made the first daily report thread. Neither would I feel like making my health the centerpiece of a thread, that's why I encouraged the making of the mental health thread - props to anon-kun for making it.

It would be pointless to strive for a given ideal in the functioning of an imageboard, when it doesn't fit the general mannerism of the userbase. Of course I'm just one user, I'm not implying that I'm typical.

Of course, in TC you'd need to write two and a half walls of text before someone bumps a thread, but try getting this habit in imageboards with more movement and you'll eventually bring it into your TC posts naturally.
